Musings from the Front Lines No. 3: Omer – Ballade

Omer chose basketball over piano as a kid, a mistake he corrected when he reached young adulthood. Having mended his ways, he is now working on subtle aspects of piano playing. In this video, you will hear (and see) how beautifully he is able to produce a singing tone with his right hand as well as a subdued left-hand accompaniment. Also note the sensitive peddling. Never too late to learn! This selection — Ballade — is from my collection entitled Preludes, Interludes, and a Postlude, which is available on SuperScore.
