Carl Czerny Meets Paul Sheftel
This video especially dear to Paul’s heart, featuring the youngest of my his grandkids, Miranda, then about 12 years of age, now a freshman at Brown University.
The video was captured during a Skype session. Miranda’s mom was busy upstairs, so Miranda was banished to the basement to spend piano time with grandpa. Nice white finger nails!
The piece is one of the etudes in Twenty Eight-Measure Etudes by Carl Czerny for which Paul composed parts of equal difficulty for a second piano.
